Whose Side?
How Mass Media Portrays Information
What we see and hear in the news is
constructed. We only get to see the information reporters decide to share. Often we do not get to hear all sides of a story.
We took a look at this as we
interviewed the participants in our conflict drama. When we interviewed one
student at a time, we only received one side of the story. However, when we
interviewed all three of them as a class we were able to see the whole picture
and understand all sides of the story.

TASK
1. Write a one-to-two paragraph article about the
conflict you witnessed in class today. State specific details and events. Your objective is show all sides of the story. Be as unbiased as possible- stating the facts from an objective point of
view.
