Stop Smoking Poster Assignment Instructions

Create an anti-smoking poster to warn 12 and 13 year olds about the dangers of tobacco smoking using Microsoft Word. 

Your audience is being peer-pressured to try smoking. They are non-smokers but they are about to begin a bad habit that can potentially kill them. Maybe your poster will change their mind!

Use pictures provided by:

Draw pictures, write captions, and be persuasive.
Discuss the medical/health issues.
Use the planning sheet Miss Ali provided for you.

Understanding of Intended Purpose How does the design tell children how to do division?

o   I have 1 division problem. The division problem is correct.

o   My titles tell that my poster is about division.

Check to see if your Poster includes all of these things to achieve a Level 3. A Level 4 achievement level goes above and beyond these expectations.
