Check to see if your poster has these Success Criteria:

Understanding of Intended Audience Are the pictures and words helpful for Grade 3s?

o   I use pictures.

Understanding of Intended Purpose How does the design tell children how to do division?

o   I have the division steps.
o   I have 1 division problem. The division problem is correct.

Poster Conventions
o   I have a title.
o   My title exciting.
o   My titles tell that my poster is about division.
o   I have picture(s).
o   I have words.
o   My name is on the poster

Design and Detail  (How do the conventions promote the purpose rather than distract or confuse?)
o   My words and pictures are not too close together.
o   My words and pictures are not too far apart.
o   I use the entire page.

Check to see if your Poster includes all of these things to achieve a Level 3. A Level 4 achievement level goes above and beyond these expectations.

Good luck!

Miss Ali

Create a poster that explains the 5 division steps to Grade 3 students using Microsoft Word.

Your poster must:
  • Be created on Microsoft Word
  • Have a title
  • Include the division steps
  • Include one division problems with remainders
  • Be attractive, creative and organized

Miss Ali will be looking to see how you use Microsoft Word. Use the knowledge and skills you learned and used in Media Literacy. Don't be afraid to be creative and try something new!
