The 7 Habits Song: Jannah Bolin

Today we watched a music video on Vimeo that promotes the Leader in Me’s 7 Habits program. We have continued to discus several conventions that many videos have. They are outlined below. Answer the following questions based on what we learned and discussed today. Use full sentences and include specific details.

2.  Which common conventions did you find in this music video? Name 4 and give an example of each.

 

3. Who do you think is the target audience? Explain your answer. (How does it address its target audience?)

 

4. Compare the Jannah Bolin’s & 7 Habits music video and the Leader in Me promotional video using the Venn Diagram below. Compare the conventions, the message, the intended audience, purpose etc. When comparing you may not simply say “has narration” or “does not have narration”. If a convention is not present you must briefly explain. You may use point form for this question.
