Grade 8 Prezi Rough Mark Break Down

(You will receive your official rubric on Monday, May 6th)

1.     Logical (4)

a.     Viewer can anticipate next slides

2.     Neat and organized (4)

3.     Has all the content (4 or 8)

a.     All three projects are completed included

b.     Definitions are correct and include one example

c.      3 things you learned are included

4.     Uses technology (4)

a.     Elements enhance rather than distract from the presentation

                                               i.     I.e. not too much transitions and movement but enough to keep viewers attention

5.     Appropriately formatted for the purpose (4)

a.     Theme chosen reflects the purpose (i.e. not too cartoonish, professional yet well-designed)

                                               i.     For example: “Balance”, “Free Fall”, “Treasure Island” not good choices

6.     Spelling and grammar (4)
7.   References (2)

You will get a higher grade if you design you own Prezi rather than use a template.

Reminders:

Cite the information you research and photographs you use- including the website and date you found them
Choose a Prezi template that is appropriate for you purpose. 
Your information should not be in paragraph form. Point form is acceptable but each must be in full sentences.

What is your project?

You will be creating a Prezi to consolidate (bring together) the learning you experienced during Media Literacy this year.

This project will be broken down into 2 parts:

1.    Planning: Due Friday, May 3^rd (beginning of class)

a.     You will receive an organizer before you begin working on your project.

2.     Project: May 13^th (beginning of class)

a.     Outline the three projects you have completed by explaining

                                               i.     Media Maps

                                              ii.     Glogster

                                            iii.     Prezi

b.     Definitions with one example for each
